Websites are a great place to introduce your business, including your services and your staff. All the marketing guides I’ve read can’t stress enough the importance of introducing yourself and presenting a friendly and approachable image.

I offer headshots in my Ilminster studio and also on location, which is a great option for many companies to showcase both their teams and their location.

Before I start location headshots, I take time to find out a little bit about the business and where images will be used. I allow time before a shoot to scout the location, looking for interesting backgrounds and light. I take pop up backgrounds if a neutral look is needed and always travel with lights and modifiers to perfect the look.

It often makes sense to set up some team shots while I’m there and more than one look can come in handy.

If your team needs a pamper I can co-ordinate with top class hair and makeup artists and it’s not a bad idea to send out an email reminding people of any dress codes that will help portray the company brand and to arrive at work neat and tidy for the day. Most enjoy the excuse to dress up and the opportunity to have a professional photograph for their Linked-In and social pages too!

Here’s a quick look at a shoot I’m editing …
