What is Stock Photography?
I have a growing library of Stock Photography images from Somerset and across the West Country, that are available to use with the purchase of a suitable licences. My most popular stock photos include scenes from towns and the rural countryside throughout the West Country.
What are stock photos?
Stock photos are images already within my library that I offer for sale with a Royalty-Free or Rights-Managed licence.
How much does a stock photo cost?
The cost of a licence to use my stock photography depends on how you intend use the image. Licences take into account the profile and distribution of your project, how long you need the licence for and if you are buying a licence for more than one image.
Do you sell stock photos for private use or for gifts?
Yes. I already sell Limited Addition Prints which make beautiful and unique gifts. If you have seen an image in my library that hasn’t yet been added to my Limited Edition range, please get in touch, I will happily add it to the collection!
Why should I use stock photos instead of hiring you as a photographer
My royalty-free licences can be a cost effective option if you are looking for great images without exclusivity. Plus you will be able to view the exact image before you commit to buying. They are hassle free way to purchase great images from the Somerset and the West Country.
What licences are available for stock photography?
I offer two types of licence: Royalty-Free: This is a one time purchased licence of a stock photo that can be used multiple times, for an unlimited time. There is no right to exclusivity with a royalty-free photo. Rights managed: The licence and price will depend on factors such as the intended usage, exclusivity and image size. A buyer can pay more for exclusivity to prevent the image being used elsewhere for competitive reasons.
What if you don’t have the stock photo that I need?
If I don’t hold a suitable image within my library I am available to commission. Talk to me about arranging a bespoke shoot to get the quality images your project needs.
